At their online press conference for the 4th installment of the anthology, I Can See You: Truly, Madly, Deadly, actress Jennylyn Mercado and actor Dennis Trillo revealed that they used to fight on set.
Firstly, Jennylyn clarified that they don’t fight on set anymore, but did note that they used to fight a lot.
“Ngayon kasi di na kami nag-aaway. Dati away kami ng away sa set. Ngayon mas smooth na,” said Jennylyn.
Then, Dennis continued on how the pandemic helped their relationship since they learned to adjust to each other especially since they spend every day together during the lockdowns.
“Mas naeenjoy namin magkasama sa trabaho siguro yun na nga dahil marami kaming time ini-ispend this quarantine. Mas nagaadjust kami kasi mas lalo kaming magkasama everyday. So nadala namin yun kahit nandun kami sa trabaho,” Dennis added.
He also added that spending time with each other helped in them while filming the mini-series.
“Mas na-eenjoy namin at the same time feeling namin mas nagiging productive kami. Kahit pagod, nagagawan kakahit papano maayos yung mga eksena namin,” said Dennis.
Jennylyn added that she always found Dennis to be a great actor whom she enjoys working with.
“Tsaka ever since naman kahit noon pa, si Dennis sa trabaho masarap talaga syang ka trabaho. Kasi napakagaling nya na actor talaga,” said Jennylyn.
Jennylyn and Dennis began their relationship in 2010 but broke in 2011 just before their first year anniversary. The two rekindled their relationship in 2015 and have been together ever since.
The two stars in the fourth installment of the anthology series, I Can See You: Truly, Madly, Deadly alongside actress Rhian Ramos. Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy, their mini-series airs this October 19, 2020, on GMA7.
