Recently, a solon who voted against the approval of ABS-CBN franchise renewal asked for help from ABS-CBN after he was removed from the chairmanship of a congressional committee.
The said solon was confirmed to be Congressman Eric Martinez from Valenzuela City of 2nd District.
This caught the attention of former ABS-CBN writer Jerry Gracio who can’t help but tweet his frustration about how Martinez had the audacity to seek help from ABS-CBN, the very network he helped shut down. He even tweeted a screenshot of a cryptic post,
According to the writer, it is really the habit of Martinez to delete a post when people have a lot of feedback on him.
“Ugali na ni Eric Martinez of the 2nd Congressional District of Valenzuela na magbura ng post kapag maraming puna ang taumbayan sa kanya.”
He even previously deleted a post on why he voted to kill the ABS-CBN franchise.
“Binura niya dati ang post niya kung bakit bumoto siya para patayin ang prangkisa ng ABS-CBN, binura niya ulit ang post na ito ngayon. Kaloka!”

Recently, due to allegedly politicking against Alan Peter Cayetano in Congress and not being able to work with the available budget for their respective committees, three members were removed from their seats, including Martinez.
Martinez, who is now seeking support from ABS-CBN, mentioned in his his interview with ABS CBN News Channel that before his removal from his post, he did not receive notification.
“This is something that you don’t expect to happen. You get to be removed without getting informed of things to come. Having been the chairman of the committee on Youth and Sports Development. Having worked hard, and put all of the legislative agendas put on by the administration,” said Rep. Martinez.

This once again enraged Gracio on why he chose to be interviewed by ABS-CBN instead of PTV 4 since he’s a die-hard Duterte supporter, “Kapal ng mukha nito, o. Nagpa-interview pa sa ABS-CBN, e bumoto naman siya to kill its franchise. Ba’t di siya sa PTV4 kumuda, tutal, die-hard Duterte supporter naman siya. Kasuka!”

You voted to deny ABS-CBN’s franchise even after they, and the concerned governing bodies themselves proved that the allegations were false… 🙄
Now you know what it feels to get kicked for no reason at all. 😒

Eric Martinez, Sharon Garin, Barzaga, Mike Defensor, LRay Villafuerte
