Clint Bondad, a model-actor and ex-boyfriend of Catriona Gray, reacted to the controversial Instagram stories of Sandra Lemonon regarding the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines.
Lemonon is the representative of Taguig who lost to Miss Iloilo Rabiya Mateo who was crowned as the Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She trended on social media after she posted several cryptic posts on her Instagram story.
On October 24, she mentioned that she will be revealing news regarding the ‘facts’ of the beauty pageant seemingly hinting that there was some ‘unspilled tea’ regarding the result of the competition.
“Get ready loves, tomorrow I will be announcing big news, it’s time to be honest & speak facts,” Lemonon posted on her IG story.
By the time the Taguig representative posted her messages on Instagram, the finals for the MUP pageant had already been pre-recorded.
After the announcement of the winners was aired, Lemonon posted her follow-up message saying, “The truth always comes out. It’s just about timing. Karma is real. Soon. Because we deserve justice.”
People became curious as to what kind of revelation Lemonon is going to spill to the netizens. Some speculated that the issue is about Mateo cheating her way into bagging the MUPH crown while other people also said that Lemonon was just bitter that she lost in the competition.
Clint Bondad reacted to the said cryptic IG stories of Lemonon by replying to her saying that the beauty queen needed to be ‘original.’
“Sandra, at least be original,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Shamcey Supsup, the national director of Miss Universe Philippines, also seemed to react to the cryptic posts of Lemonon when she posted a statement via IG story just hours after Lemonon did.
“To bear defeat with dignity, to accept criticism with poise, to receive honors with humility – these are the marks of a true queen,” Shamcey wrote.
People believed that Lemonon answered the statement of Shamcey with her statement saying that real queens should not cheat.
“Get your tea. Accepting defeat graciously is one of many mark of being a queen. But what you forgot to say is that REAL queens play FAIR don’t CHEAT,” Lemonon said.
On the other hand, it can be recalled that Bondad himself previously made the rounds online after posting his share of cryptic posts regarding his ex-girlfriend Catriona Gray and her current boyfriend Sam Milby.
He became the top trending topic on Twitter at the time he made his posts. People were curious as to what ‘tea’ Bondad had on the couple.
Bondad’s posts piqued the interest of the netizens who were trying to decode his cryptic posts where he mentioned the name ‘Sam’ and Ex’.
At the time, Sandra Lemonon was one of the many who defended Catriona by replying to a post regarding the issue among Clint, Catriona, andSam.
She seemingly referred to Bondad when she stressed that the “chismis culture” of people should be canceled and when she said that “he is not in a healthy state of mind”.
