At the press conference for I Can See You: The Promise, actor Benjamin Alves said that he trusts GMA Network to care for the cast when filming during the new normal.
When asked what message does he have for artists who are still afraid to work amidst the pandemic, Benjamin said that he trusts GMA Network and assured others that the network only wants what’s best for its talents.
“From the network side, trust them. The network only wants the best for you. The people you are going to work with. Nakasama mo na sya in some capacity. May mga pangalan na yan,” said Benjamin.
He also said that GMA Network is not a corporation and that the network only wants the best for its talents.
“Di naman sya isang corporation. Kumbaga its GMA. You’ve worked with them. They only want the best for you. They want to give you work,” said Benjamin.
Benjamin advised artists who are still afraid to work amidst the pandemic to listen to themselves.
“I understand you don’t want someone to go into taping na halfhearted. Kasi that’s for well being. Di naman din maganda yun. Really listen to yourself,” said Benjamin.
He also assured other artists under the network that GMA is ready and that they can take their time.
“GMA is ready, so when you’re ready you can come into work. Take your time but the network is more than prepared to take you in,” said Benjamin.
Benjamin stars in the one-week mini-series I Can See You: The Promise, alongside Paolo Contis, Yasmien Kurdi, and Andrea Torres. It airs starting October 5.
