Four years after breaking up with film producer Neil Arce, actress Bela Padilla seems to have finally found a new love when she confirmed that she is in a relationship with her new boyfriend, Norman Ben Bay.
On the Instagram account of the actress, she posted photos of herself with Norman in Turkey, with the caption, “The one I met in St. Gallen 🙈 📸 by @orciborci”
Netizens were curious whether the two met in St. Gallen literally or whether the actress only used the title of her film Meet Me in St. Gallen as a caption,
‘Wait, you guys literally met in St. Gallen when you were filming the movie namesake??? Cutieee”
She confirmed that when she was shooting her movie with Carlo Aquino, she and Norman actually met in St. Gallen. “yup” the actress answered
In an exclusive interview with MJ Felipe, Bela revealed that they met at the taping for St. Gallen,
“We met in St. Gallen nung 2017 while we were shooting in the movie St. Gallen pero nung holiday season nasa Switzerland pa ako.”
One thing that made them closer is when Norman invited her to celebrate holidays with him since she was all alone. “Tapos I think parang yung nag pa close sa amin ni Norman was when he told me na people shouldn’t be alone pag holiday season.”
She even spent the holidays with Norman’s colleagues. “I spent the holidays in their place.”
Bela also admitted that she and Norman are in a long-distance relationship but stressed that he and Norman are not having a bad time about it, “Technically parang lahat ng tao LDR so hindi kame masyadong na fe-feel bad if we don’t see each other kase no one is seeing each other at the moment”
Bela recently went to Turkey for an ocular visit for her new film, and at that time she also met her partner, who is reportedly working for ATKYE-Kenya Youth Education Association Ticino.
