Kapamilya star Beauty Gonzalez teased about an upcoming project with her home network ABS-CBN.
During the media conference for her Brightlight Productions series, I Got You which will be air on TV5, Beauty reiterated her love for the Kapamilya network saying nothing will ever change since she will remain a Kapamilya by heart and spirit.
“My heart will always belong to Kapamilya, everybody knows about that. Nothing will ever change, I’m always gonna be a Kapamilya by spirit, by heart.”
She then added that she’s going to work with ABS-CBN again for a new project soon.
“And babalik din ako do’n (ABS-CBN), may gagawin din ako ro’n soon and you know I’m just so happy na nangyayari ito ngayon ang lahat kami nagkakaroon ng trabaho ngayon lalo na sa panahon ng pandemya.”
Beauty is one of the several Kapamilya stars who were taken in by Brightlight Productions to star in its programs that will air on TV5 via a block time agreement.
Last Sunday, Beauty together with I Got You co-star and also Kapamilya artists RK Bagatsing and Jaine Oinesa guested in another Brightlight Production show Sunday Noontime Live to promote the series. I Got You is a weekly drama series.
Meanwhile, during the media conference, Beauty shared that she had sought the permission of ABS-CBN executives before accepting Brightlight’s offer.
Beauty said she did it out of respect for her home network since she owes them her career.
“Ipinaalam ko naman ito, I asked permission kasi respeto na rin sa kanila kahit wala pa silang project na ino-offer sa akin because I owe them my career,” she said.
“I asked them nicely about it and they were open about it. ‘Sige, diyan ka muna habang nagre-ready pa kami,’” Beauty added.
