In her Twitter post, actress Alessandra de Rossi poked fun at one of her Twitter trolls in the classiest way possible.
Alessandra retweeted a reply to one of her tweets. In the Twitter reply, the netizen asked what has the actress contributed to help society while admitting that the white sand project was a failure. To which Alessandra jokingly replied that the failure of the white sand project was due to the Manila Bay.
She also scoffed at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ talking points as to why they started the project. She also poked fun at the timing of the project amidst the pandemic.
“Spread hate? I (heart) the project! Si Manila Bay mismo ang issue, kasi sya naman ang nagwawash out ng sand at hindi tao, when it’s for our mental health! Walang kinalaman mga tao dito! May twitter ba si Manila Bay? Pakisabi wag naman during a pandemic. Be sensitive, waves. KALMA,” said Alessandra on her Twitter account.

In Septemeber, celebs and netizens clashed online over the Manila Bay rehabilitation project costing 389 million pesos. The money was used to cover a 500-Meter portion of Manila Bay in crushed dolomite from Cebu instead of removing trash.
Alessandra is one of the celebrities who have been voicing out their concerns about the Manila Bay rehabilitation project.
“Hirap lumabas. It’s exhausting for my sanity. Buti nalang nagbaon ako ng white sand for my mental health,” said Alessandra on her Twitter account.
