Singer-actress and known Duterte government critic Agot Isidro blasted Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque over his comment about the latest approval and trust rating of Vice President Leni Robredo.
In a tweet, Agot questioned the survey’s relevance knowing the current situation of the country under the pandemic.
“Ano ang relevance ng ratings kung marami pa din ang nagkaka-Covid, nawawalan ng trabaho at nagugutom? At ikaw tangi lang ang nakaka pag-Boracay. Just STFU, Harry.”

Agot’s reaction came after Roque took a swipe at VP Leni’s survey numbers saying it’s a result of the VP’s politicking.
“Naku madam VP mukhang tama ang aking sinabi, ayaw ng mga Pilipino sa mga namumulitika sa panahon ng pandemya. Subukan natin itigil ang pulitika baka tumaas…ang rating.” said Roque.
On Monday, Pulse Asia released its 3rd quarter approval and trust ratings survey among high-ranking government officials of the country.
In the survey result, President Duterte managed to get 91% approval ratings while Vice President Robredo got 57%.

While die-hard Duterte supporters and Duterte officials like Roque celebrated the survey result saying Duterte continues to hold massive support of the people, many netizens doubted the survey rating result.
Saan kayo nakakita na longest lockdown in the world, no.1 in COVID cases in Southeast Asia (tough 20 in the world), walang major projects built sa promised BBB, self-confessed INUTIL sa pamamalakad, tapos 91% approval rating? False Asia- may sayad o BAYAD? paki-explain!

Some even noticed the discrepancy in the rating numbers for Duterte which totaled 101%.
KALOKOHAN ANG LATEST PULSE ASIA SURVEY.
Are we sure it was Pulse Asia who conducted interviews–hindi PCOO, VACC, DDS, o si MOCHA?
91% + 5% + 5% = 101%
MARUNONG BA MAGBILANG ANG PULSE ASIA?

Who believes in this survey anyway? And btw, Pulse Asia should really double check their rounding off of numbers because 91+5+5=101%. https://t.co/2bigJ4Iws9

Many netizens find it hard to believe the survey given the country’s numbers in terms of its COVID response.
Recently, the Philippines was ranked among the top 20 highest COVID19 cases.
PH NOW RANKS 19TH AMONG COUNTRIES WITH HIGHEST COVID-19 CASES. The Philippines has climbed further in worldwide ranking of countries with most number of coronavirus infections.

Pulse Asia’s survey period also coincided with the Philhealth Corruption issues and the highly controversial Manila Bay dolomite beach, that’s why many netizens shared their doubts about the result of the approval and trust rating survey.
91 % trust rating ni PDU30 according to False Asia Manipulated survey. At para hindi mahalata may palaman pa ang survey sina Sotto at Cayetano but the absolute target is VP Leni credibility. False Asia who’s your sponsor?

We’re not dying we’re multiplying” loollllllll🤮🤮🤮

#PulseAsia #FalseASIA
— ThirdeeThirdee (@TThirdee) October 5, 2020
No one really believes that these Pulse Asia surveys are completely factual and their findings should be interrogated from various points (because, honestly, the recent approval ratings look absurd and fantastic) but dismissing them outright can be dangerously counterproductive.
