Recently, Maja Salvador posted an Instagram photo from when she was in Tulum, Mexico with a caption, “Everyday is a new beginning.”
This led to speculations that Maja will be transferring to TV5 network.
She will supposedly join Piolo Pascual on the Sunday noontime show which will go up against ASAP on ABS-CBN.
As ABS-CBN’s franchise was rejected by Congress in July, it pushed the network to stop its TV broadcast and la -off its employees.
This caused some Kapamilya artists to shift to other network to pursue their respective careers.
On the same month, Manny V. Pangilinan, TV5 chairman, said that they are ready to accept a few Kapamilya employees and artists if they wish to transfer.
Recently in a vlog, Direk Lauren Dyogi, ABS CBN entertainment head confirmed that some of their artists already showed their intention to shift to another network even before the shutdown.
Accordingly, they did not think twice to let them do so because they don’t want them to lose their source of income.
Pokwang, Ria Atayde, and Jessy Mendiola were some of the ABS-CBN artists who earlier confirmed the shift of network.
Moreover, former lawmaker now Brightlight Productions CEO Albee Benitez secured blocktime slots with Kapatid network that will star more ABS-CBN artists on TV5.
Some of the shows expected are; Laugh Out Loud, to be hosted by Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, K Brosas, and Wacky Kiray; Rated Korina by Korina Sanchez; Sunday Noontime Variety Show hosted by Catriona Gray and Piolo Pascual; drama series I Got You featuring Beauty Gonzales, RK Bagatsing, and Yen Santos; and many more.
