Mariel Rodriguez commented on her husband Robin Padilla‘s Instagram post that people shouldn’t complain about the Manila Bay fake white sand beach project.
She also noted that people can now see where the taxes are going.
“Nung puro basura walang nagrereklamo ngayon na pinaganda… can you believe it? Ngayon sila nag reklamo? Tapos mah complain pa rin?” said Mariel.
Netizens took to Twitter to slam her comment. For instance, one netizen noted that Manila bay still has trash that needs to be cleaned.

Pinagsasasabi ng babaeng 'to?

The white sand beach project only covers 500 meters of Manila Bay and solves its superficial issues. Experts say that the focus should be on solving the pollution around the area and to maintain cleanliness in Manila Bay.
