Actress Vaness Del Moral said that she missed portraying ‘kontrabida’ roles during the pandemic.
In a press conference held for Wish ko Lang’s Winner September special, Del Moral shared her experiences during filming in the new normal and what adjustments she made as an actress.
Del Moral admitted that she got used to her schedule during the lockdown and that she had to adjust when she returned to filming.
“Medyo nahirapan ako ng konti kasi since the start of the lockdown early to bed, early to rise na ko. So ano ko… early bird. 5:30 ng umaga or 6 oclock, tapos by mga 8:39 pm ready to sleep na ko. So nung nagtaping kami ng Wish ko Lang, tapos inabot kami ng umaga talaga. Sabi ko ‘Oh my Gosh kaya ko ba talaga yung ganito’ although syempre, namiss ko din sya, pero parang kailangan ko pang yatang iready yung sarili ko sa mga susunod at paparating na taping,” said Del Moral.
When asked what adjustments did she make in terms of acting when she returned to filming, Del Moral said that there wasn’t much adjustment since she missed portraying ‘kontrabida’ or antagonist roles.
‘Medyo kinabahan ako. Sabi ko hala marunong pa ba ko umarte. Although dito sa role ko as kabit sa wish ko lang winner september special. Di ako masyadong nag adjust, namiss ko yung ganitong role. Yung maging kontrabida dito rin ako napupuri sa mga gantong role,’ said Del Moral.
Dek Moral portrays the role of a mistress in ‘Wish ko Lang’s episode titled ‘Inilibing,’ Her character attempted to kill and bury the lead character of Jean Garcia. Garcia’s character fought for her life and her children.
‘Inilibing’ is the 4th episode of Wish ko Lang’s September special, ‘Winner September’ which tells winning stories of women who inspires resiliency.
Wish ko Lang’s September special airs every Saturday of the month at 4 pm via GMA7.
