It is not a secret that actress Pauleen Luna and veteran actor Vic Sotto have a very big age gap and after 4 years of marriage, Pauleen revealed something about this issue.
On the Instagram account of Pauleen, she shared an emotional post about her age gap with her husband, Vic.
According to the actress-TV host, she was asked by News5 head and host of TV5’s Usapang Real Life, Luchi Cruz Valdez about how they deal with their age gap,
She then revealed that she didn’t give a good answer on the interview. “A few weeks ago, we were interviewed by Miss @luchicruzvaldes for her show. She asked me ‘How do you deal with the age gap?’ I wasn’t able to give a good answer because I honestly do not feel the ‘gap’ that we have.”
She said that one thing that didn’t make her ‘feel’ the age gap is because of Vic’s love for her.
“That afternoon, I thought hard about that question and I came up with an answer, a real answer. My husband loves me very much and gives me a certain kind of confidence and security about our relationship but I think the thing I love most about him is the amount of respect he gives me.

She shared that from the time they were in a relationship until they got married and had a daughter. never has she heard Vic raise his voice.
“He respects my life decisions, he respects my room to grow and he respects me like an equal. Never did I hear my husband raise his voice and felt like I was younger and didn’t matter. I always felt validated.”
This is probably the reason their marriage became easy and peaceful, because “respect” is a big part of their marriage.
“I always feel important around him. Respect plays a big role in any relationship. I know deep in my heart that it’s one of the main reasons why this relationship is so easy. Catch the rest of our interview tomorrow, 9 pm at TV5. @urlwithluchi”
Recently, Pauleen called out a netizen who mocked her baby Tali for being unattractive. She said she’s always going to support and shield her child from bashers.
“It’s one thing to say your opinion, which is totally fine. But it’s another thing to bash, you know, an innocent child, lahat naman tayo meron tayong opinion, pero di naman natin kailangan sabihin pa sa lahat ng tao kung hindi ito kagandahan,”

“Now I’m a mom, you can’t expect me to… pag-inaapi na ba at niyuyurakan ang pagkatao ng anak mo na hindi naman makalaban para sa sarili niya, you cannot expect the mom to just sit back, watch and enjoy. Siguro yan ang kailangan maintindihan ng mga tao na once you become a mom, you will do anything and everything to protect your child.”
