In an interview with Cinema One’s “PopCinema” Julia Barretto shared that she is an avid fan of the hit Kdrama series “A World of Married Couple” and if there will be a Filipino version of it she would like to play as Yeo Da Kyung, the mistress turned wife.
She said, “A World of the Married Couple.’ If you guys have seen that. It’s one of the best in the world. I want do something like that,”
“But I want to be Da Kyung, the young girl. If you’ve seen it you would know. She’s the young girl there, she’s so pretty,” she added.
Many netizens agreed and thought that she is best suited for the role since she went through the same situation in her past.

It can be recalled that Julia was caught in a cheating controversy with Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson. The issue started when Julia was randomly seen with Gerald and cryptic posts from Bea’s social media account appeared which made accusations that Julia was the reason behind the Bea-Gerald breakup.
Prior to these, Julia and Gerald were already romantically linked during the shoot of their movie, “Between Maybes.”
However, Julia denied all the allegations.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Toni Gonzaga, Julia opened up about her past controversy and shared her learnings from it. She said that it is important to move forward and not let things get in the way.
