Singer Iñigo Pascual privately celebrated his twenty-third birthday with some friends.
To the surprise of many, his ex-girlfriend Maris Racal was seen in a video attending the said celebration.
In the said video, they were singing a birthday song for Inigo when suddenly Maris was seen dancing and immediately hid her face from the camera.
With this, the ‘MarÑigo’ fans are hopeful that the ex-couple will be back together.
To recall, Piolo Pascual, the father of Inigo, entered in the Pinoy Big Brother house as a guest in 2014. Maris, a housemate at that time, sung and played the guitar.
Piolo complimented her and said, “Gusto mo antayin ’yung anak ko.” Piolo told the then-17-year-old Maris, referring to his only son, Iñigo, “Magka-edad kayo. Musikero din ’yun.”
Maris eventually ended up as the first runner-up of the show.

Two weeks after, Iñigo reached out to Maris through Twitter and ‘they were “formally” introduced to each other.
However, their love team did not immediately begin that time and they pursued their respective careers.
They first met on the set of Piolo’s shoot for the series “Hawak Kamay” and both admitted that they were awkward at each other at that time.
But the awkwardness between them vanished when they both starred in the horror movie “Bloody Crayons”.
Music, as the thing that connects them, became a way for them to work together on more projects.
Maris guested in the musical show of Iñigo likewise, the latter also guested in a concert of Maris.
Rumors circulated that Iñigo was courting Maris however this was not confirmed by the two.
They parted ways for an undisclosed reason.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Maris confirmed that their relationship had no label but remained more than friends with mutual feelings and said, “Minahal naman namin ang isa’t-isa”.
