Actress Maja Salvador has confirmed the rumors about her leaving ABS-CBN and moving to another network.
On Tuesday, September 22, Maja dedicated a post for the Kapamilya network on her Instagram account. Along with mentioning that she will be leaving her home network, she also expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN.

She thanked all her fans as well as the ABS-CBN network for the support that they have given her.
“Ako po ay taos pusong nagpapasalamat sa mga taong walang sawang sumusuporta sa akin at sa ABS-CBN,” she said.
She mentioned that she will follow Johnny Manahan also known as Mr. M, head of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, to the TV5 network.
“Mga kapamilya, sasamahan ko po muna ang aking tatay na si. MR.M kaya sana wag po kayo magulat kung makikita niyo akong lumabas sa ibang network at patuloy makapagbigay ligaya sa inyo kahit sa anong paraan at plataporma,” she explained.
Manahan will be having two shows on the Kapatid network which includes the noontime show “Laugh Out Loud” hosted by Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, K Brosas and, Wacky Kiray and as well as the Sunday variety show to be hosted by Catriona Gray and Piolo Pascual.
It was rumored that Maja will be guesting on the upcoming shows of Mr. M in the TV5 network.
Meanwhile, Maja also posted about hoping that her fans will continue to support her even though she already decided to leave ABS-CBN. She hoped that people will continue to believe in her and the path that she chose to face.

The rumors about Maja leaving the ABS-CBN network started when she posted an Instagram photo from when she was in Tulum, Mexico.

Netizens have speculated her plans of leaving the Kapamilya network because her caption said, “Everyday is a new beginning.”
They said that Maja is planning to start a career anew in the Kapatid network.
With franchise of ABS-CBN denied by lawmakers on July 10, Kapamilya artists and employees were greatly affected because the network’s free TV and radio broadcasting operations were forced to shut down.
The network has already released the contracts of its artists, allowing them to accept offers from rival networks. Some of the Kapamilya artists accepted job offers from other networks like Pokwang and Ria Atayde who became the hosts of TV’s morning talk show ‘Chika Besh!’. Jessy Mendiola also accepted a job offer with TV5 with her fitness show ‘Fit for Life’.
Recently, it was also rumored that the ‘Banana Sundae’ cast will star in the upcoming comedy gag show of TV5 which is ‘Sunday Kada Kada Sunday‘. The Banana Sundae artists who have accepted the offer include JC De Vera, Ritz Azul, Wacky Kiray, Jhen Maloles, Sunshine Garcia, Aiko Climaco, and Badji Mortiz.
