Talent manager and entertainment columnist Manay Lolit Solis lambasted BB Gandanghari’s revelation that her former self, Rustom Padilla, had a “romantic affair” with Piolo Pascual.
On the Instagram account of Solis, she didn’t hold back and immediately said how the transgender woman seems to want the spotlight on her, “Grabe nakaw eksena ni BB Gandanghari, Salve. Parang hindi naman maganda timing ng mga reveal niya at parang bitter lang siya sa buhay kaya panay ang mga pasabog niya.”
She also said that BB is being irrelevant for revealing such things at this time when his story has happened a long time ago,
“Wala ng relevance ang mga sinasabi niyang throwback story sa buhay ni Rustom Padilla na para bang napakatagal ng panahon naganap kaya hindi na gaanong pansin pa ng mga tao sa ngayon.”
And what makes Manay Lolit upset is how BB drags other people into issues.
“Ang nakakainis nga marami pa ang nadadamay na pangalan dahil blind item nga ang style ng kanyang pagbu bulgar.”

For Manay Lolit, maintaining her silence is safer for the transwoman since she is living abroad.
“Mas mabuti pa nga na tumahimik na lang si BB GandangHari dahil ang layo na niya sa Pilipinas, nasa USA na siya, dapat masaya na siya sa buhay na pinili niya at huwag ng manggulo pa. Mas mabuti na ang tahimik siya dahil kahit paano pag gusto niya bumalik baka puwede pa. Now kung mag iintriga siya, baka wala na siyang mabalikan pa. To recall, Lolit Solis once ran into trouble with Piolo when she reported that the actor was seen “holding hands” with Sam Milby at Sofitel Hotel.
The actors immediately lodged a libel lawsuit against Solis since the said incident never happened and Lolit herself only based her story on hearsay.
Faced with the prospect of going to court, Solis retracted her story and apologized to both actors.
