Few days ago, Liza Soberano’s manager Ogie Diaz confirmed they will be pursuing legal actions.
On his YouTube channel, Ogie revealed that they are talking with lawyers. He also noted that they are already reviewing the legal actions they can take against the woman who posted a rape threat against Liza.
“Pinaguusapan nanamin ng lawyer yan. Meron kaming law firm na inatasan namin na to look into this matter kung anong legal na action ang pwede naming gawin,” said Ogie.
Ogie also noted that an employee of Converge violated the data privacy law. It was through posting the job order for the Soberano residence on social media which contains Liza’s home address.
“At the same time, yung data privacy law ay vina-iolate ng isang empleyado ng Converge, kung saan yung kanilang report doon sa pinarerepair ng mga Soberano ay inilabas nila. Nahusgahan tuloy si Liza sa pamamagitan ng report na yun na pinapalabas nila na walang kasalanan yung Converge,” said Ogie.
Liza recently posted tweets about the poor customer service and slow internet speed of Converge. Because of this, she received bashing from employees of Converge that included a rape threat from Melissa Olaes, who appears to be a sales head at the company.
Converge has released a statement saying that they do not tolerate the actions of their employees. Melissa also posted an apology statement about her actions claiming that it was a private conversation despite commenting on a public post.
