After Kris Aquino announced that she will no longer return to TV, rumors about Korina Sanchez replacing her started to circulate.
The Queen of All Media was supposed to make a TV comeback via TV5’s talk show ‘Love Life with Kris’.
However, due to Kris’ health condition, and some issues with her producer, the show was canceled.
In her Instagram post, Kris said that the show will no longer push through because “the producer chose somebody else he and his sales team felt was more viable”.
“This is a life update post I wish I didn’t have to make, BUT it’s something I’m facing up to in order to truthfully move on… my hoped-for TV comeback isn’t happening, the producer chose somebody else he and his team felt was more viable. No sugar coating from me, you’re getting the honest truth,” Kris wrote.
She also added that her and Bimby’s health are more important and she believed that in some other time opportunities will come.
“I would like to believe that I’m now glass half full type of person – I no longer wish to focus on what’s not given, rather I am so very grateful for blessings, and YES, our health is the most precious one.
“I continue to have faith there will be opportunities – all in God’s perfect timing,” Kris added.
After this announcement, rumors about Korina replacing Kris have started to surface since Korina was also rumored to transfer to TV5 after ABS-CBN lost3 its franchise bid.
Meanwhile, Kris and Korina used to go along way back.
They used to be closed friends and co-host in the former Kapamilya morning talk show “Morning Girls with Kris and Korina”.
The fallout however started when Mar and Korina decided to announce their engagement on Wowowee instead of Kris’ show.
In 2018, Kris’ also had a social media meltdown slamming Korina for featuring James Yap on Rated K. Kris apparently didn’t like the theme of the interview and feature that’s why Kris lashed out at Korina on social media.
