Actress Kim Chiu is now officially part of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime after a series of appearances as a guest host.
The chinita princess was welcomed by longtime hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Amy Perez, Ryan Bang, and Jhong Hilario.
“Opisyal na siyang magiging host niyo araw-araw. Let’s welcome Kim Chiu. Congratulations and thank you so much for officially being a kapatid dito sa ‘Showtime,'” said Vice Ganda.
“Thank you because you choose to stay with us and you choose to be with us. Salamat, maraming salamat.”
The actress became teary-eyed as she thanked the It’s Showtime family for the very warm welcome.
“Nakaka-fragile ‘yung salitang thank you ‘Ma. And ‘yung salitang ‘stay.’ Thank you na pinayagan niyo akong tumuntong dito at magkakasama tayo rito.”
“Thank you for welcoming me and for allowing me to be part of the program. I’m really happy that I will get to spend every day and have fun with the ‘madlang people.’ Thank you very much. Kapamilya Forever,” she added while holding back her tears.
Vhong also expressed his gratitude to Kim for joining them in giving the Madlang Pipol entertainment.
“Kim, salamat sa pagtanggap mo na maging parte ng ‘It’s Showtime.‘ Alam namin na lagi mong sinasabi na gusto mong maging co-host dito kaya lang nabibigyan ka ng soap opera na hindi mo kayang pagsabayin, pero now nandito ka na welcome na welcome ka rito.”
