Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo revealed that she has been preparing for an upcoming digital sitcom (situational comedy) under the ABS-CBN network.
She said that she has been busy amid the pandemic given that the taping for the first few episodes of her show will begin soon.
“May inaayos kami actually under ABS, ‘yon ‘yung gagawin namin. Mag-start na kami i-tape ‘yung ilang episodes,” Kathryn said as reported by PhilStar.
The 24-year-old actress also said that she has been busy studying land investment plans as she learned that it is a good investment for her to make. She was taught by her mother that the value of land gets higher with each passing year that’s why Kathryn believed that it’s a good decision for her to make investments in it.
Kathryn also said she has been building a new house for her whole family to live in. She revealed that the house was her biggest investment because it is something that their family will benefit from for the rest of their lives.
“Biggest investment ko recently ay ‘yung bahay. Investment ko iyon pang-habambuhay. Si mama tinuturuan niya ako on how to invest sa lands. Kasi ‘yan ‘yung mga tumataas (ang value) over the years. So I think, very wise ‘yon na mag-invest ka ng mga gano’ng bagay,” she explained.
Kathryn Bernardo is supposed to star in a 2020 movie along with her on-screen and real-life partner, Daniel Padilla. The said movie was supposed to be under Star Cinema film called After Forever but it was canceled due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kathryn explained that she was still waiting for an update for the film as she said that it will be hard for their team to shoot because the movie was supposed to be done outside of the country.
“May mga pina-finalize pa kung ano ‘yung magiging plans for the movie kasi na-cancel siya because of covid. Kasi out of the country ‘yon and parang hindi magandang timing ngayon to make a movie. So basically, ‘yun pa lang sitcom,” she said.
KathNiel’s supposed movie After Forever was to be the tandem’s much-anticipated comeback film after they decided to focus on solo careers projects in 2019. It was supposed to have a mid-2020 release and directed by Hello, Love, Goodbye‘s director Cathy Garcia-Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo.
