Transgender TV personality and host KaladKaren or Jervi Li in real life announced her engagement to her British boyfriend of eight years, Luke Wrightson, via her YouTube channel.
Luke revealed that he has had the ring for a while and he hid it in the cleaning supply closet. He was originally planning to propose to KaladKaren when they got back to the United Kingdom. He also noted that his mother and father already knew that he was going to propose. Luke even asked for help from his mother and sister to pick out the ring.
In the video, KaladKaren described the morning of the proposal which had her wondering why Luke was cleaning their balcony. Luke said that he wanted to have somewhere where they can go out and sit since they are stuck inside all the time. He said that wanted to have a date night with KaladKaren.

During their date night, Kaladkaren was browsing via her iPad looking for rings, hinting what she wants as an engagement ring.
Luke noticed that the ring she saw looks the same as the one he already has. He took it as a sign and surprised Kaladkaren with the proposal.
‘Kaladkaren’ and Luke have been together since 2012. She opened up about their relationship back in 2017.
She denied the rumors of a secret marriage when she had to extend her vacation in the UK. Kaladkaren clarified that she had to stay with her boyfriend in the UK because of the tragic death of Luke’s father.
In her next videos, KaladKaren will show the reaction of celebrities like Karen Davila, Karla Estrada, Boy Abunda, and Angeline Quinto who are close to her when she told them of her engagement.
