Jennylyn Mercado twitted Marcos loyalists after she posted an article from the Guinness World Records showing the Marcos dictatorship holds the title of “Greatest robbery of a Government” record.
Last week, a bill that proclaimed September 11 of each year as a special non-working holiday in Ilocos Norte was approved by the House of Representatives at the third and final reading.
Lawmakers voted 197-9 to pass House Bill 7137, which aims to celebrate Marcos’ birthday in his home province and bailiwick.
Mercado immediately replied to a Philippine Star tweet about the holiday with an article about Marcos’s Guiness Record. As of this writing, the tweet has been removed/deleted.

According to the article, the Philippine government declared on April 23, 1986, that it had succeeded in finding $860.8 million (£569.5 million) salted away by former President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos (1917–89) and his wife Imelda. The gross national loss was thought to be $5–$10 billion.
The second district of Ilocos Norte and the nephew of Marcos Rep. Angelo Marcos Barba are among the key writers of the special non-working holiday.
Recently, Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado has been trending for her support for ABS-CBN by sharing her opinion on Congress’s rejection of a franchise renewal.

She even expressed support for the ABS-CBN network by pointing out those people who rejoiced at the decision to vote against the network’s franchise renewal.
On the other hand, netizens were not pleased by the passing of the bill on Marcos day.
