Actress Glydel Mercado spoke up about her Wish Ko Lang role and what was it like filming during the pandemic.
Glydel noted that the filming experience was completely different and that there were a lot of protocols implemented for the safety of the staff and crew.
Ngayon may sinusunod kang protocols. Kahit gusto mong yakapin, halikan dahil matagal mong di nakita yung mga kaibigan mong direktor, co-actors, hindi pwede. Kasi social distancing. Kailangan nating gawin yun to be safe always. Nakakapanibago lang talaga,” said Glydel.
She added that she missed acting on TV and that the project had a good story to tell.
“Na-miss ko rin talaga ’yung pag-arte, and nakita ko naman na ’yung binigay nila sa aking project is maganda ’yung storya,” Glydel added.
In her first role, Glydel portrayed the role of a mother who fought her way through a flash-flood to save her family and children.
When speaking about her role, she said that she admired her character’s courage and resiliency through the flash-flood in order to save her family.
She filmed the first episode of ‘Wish ko Lang!’ titled ‘Nalunod’ which is a part of the public service program’s ‘Winner September’ special. The special episodes this September aims to inspire resiliency with stories of women who persevered against all odds.
Wish ko Lang’s ‘Winner September’ airs every Saturday of September at 4 pm via GMA7.
