Kapamilya stars Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto are speculated to have spent their quarantine together at a private resort. Gerald revealed on his YouTube channel that he owns a private resort in Botolan, Zambales.
The rumor came up after the two were spotted together in an Instagram photo speculatively uploaded by Gerald’s assistant.
The photo showed a silhouette of two persons in a resort: a long-haired girl and a man on the other side.
Netizens quickly assumed that this was Gerald and Julia just basing her on their body types.
Gerald has been spending most of his days at his resort to finish its construction during this quarantine.
Fans also noticed that Julia had tan lines which they assumed she got due to spending most of her time at the beach.
In one of her online interviews with Toni Gonzaga, a bamboo headboard could be seen in the background which is similar to Gerald’s bamboo bed in his resort.
All of these details contributed to the rumors which said Julia and Gerald were together during quarantine.
Gerald’s name was first linked to Julia’s when he was tagged as the reason behind her and former boyfriend and on-screen partner Joshua Garcia’s breakup.
Their alleged romance presumably started when they worked together for the movie Between Maybes.
This happened a month before the breakup issue with Gerald and his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo surfaced. Though they denied having a romantic relationship with each other, the two have been constantly scrutinized since then.
