On Thursday, a Facebook post on the official page of Lloyd Cadena shocked netizens as it confirmed the abrupt death of the influencer at the age of 26.
His name trended online as celebrities and fellow YouTube content creators paid tribute to the vlogger and recalled how Lloyd inspired many people.
Messages of grief flooded on the different social networking sites due to the untimely death of Lloyd or “Kween LC”.

After the death of Emman Nimendez last August 16, another Filipino YouTuber bid farewell to the vlogging industry.
On Thursday, a Facebook post by the official page of Lloyd Cadena shocked the netizens as it confirmed the abrupt death of the influencer at the age of 26.
“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena. May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time.”
The cause of his death was not yet officially disclosed but there is information circulating that it was due to a cardiac arrest.
Lloyd is one of the pioneers of the vlogging industry in the Philippines. He started creating video content in 2011 while he was still studying.
He started from scratch with low-quality videos but with his humor and passion for vlogging, he was eventually recognized and idolized by many netizens.
His famous content includes LC Learns and Itanong Mo series, Prank, and challenge videos.

Lloyd is not only known for his comedic personality but also for his kindheartedness as he never forgets to give back to the community.
He helped a lot of people from his earnings on YouTube, and recently he distributed tablets for students that can be used for online classes amidst the new normal.
The vlogging skills of Lloyd was also recognized by different award-giving buddies. He was awarded OPPO Capture the real you Award, Online Choice for Class Clown, Nuffie Awards Winner for Class Clown during Blogopolis 2018. The vlogger was also chosen as the Influencer of the Year in 2016 by RAWR Awards.
With his passing, the Philippines’ YouTube family lost one of the very first vloggers who played an important role as an influencer for the Filipino people. He may be gone from our sight, but surely his kindness and positivity will always stay in our hearts and minds.
