The song’s lyrics reflects the current situation of the society we live in. It is described by the band as “Isang alay sa ating mga kapamilya. Para sa bigat ng mga pangyayari ngayon.”
‘Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin’ is available on YouTube and other music services like Apple Music and Spotify.
August 31 was the last day for thousands of ABS-CBN employees who were retrenched after the House of Representatives denied the Kapamilya network’s franchise bid. Meanwhile, others are expected to lose their jobs next month.
ABS-CBN said in a statement on July 15 that it is now forced to implement a retrenchment program, as it ceased operating some of its businesses.
Ben&Ben recently celebrated another milestone as they reached more than a million subscribers on YouTube.
Ben&Ben also revealed about their plans to drop a “head bang” version of their smash single “Pagtingin,” as well as cover select K-Pop songs in the future.
Ben&Ben is currently working on the follow-up to their platinum-selling debut album, Limasawa Street, which produced generation-defining songs such as “Pagtingin,” “Fall,” “Araw-Araw,” “War,” and more.
