Since July, there have been talks of the gag show Banana Sundae transferring to TV5. However, actress Angelica Panganiban won’t be joining the transfer since she has an on-going teleserye with ABS-CBN.

According to columnist Jun Lalin, the ABS-CBN gag show Banana Sundae‘s production team will be moving to TV5.
However, the show will have a different name due to the decision of ABS-CBN’s top executives to keep the name.
In his column in Philstar, Lalin confirmed that he had talks with director Bobot Mortiz about the transfer. Lalin also hoped that the fans of the Kapamilya gag show follow the cast and crew to their transfer to TV5.
“Sana lang nga ‘yung mga fan ng Kapamilya stars na kasama sa Sunday Kada’ Kada Sunday ay magsunuran sa kanila sa TV5 para maging bongga naman ang ratings ng nasabing gag show, huh!” said Lalin in his column.
Lalin also added that the network aims to reveal the actors and talents who transferred to TV5 by September 24.
Angelica will star in the new teleserye, Walang Hanggang Paalam, together with Zanjoe Marudo. The TV series replaced the Dreamscape production Burado since it was shelved in August 2020.
