Recently, during the media conference of “Walang Hanggang Paalam,” actress Angelica Panganiban shared her decision of finally ending her teleserye career.
When asked about the importance of the show, she directly answered,”Dahil gusto ko ng magpaalam sa larangan ng teleserye.”
“Masyadong personal s aakin kung bakit siguro magiging importante sa akin itong ‘Walang Hangang Paalam‘ kasi dito rin ako nakapagdecide kung ano talaga yung mahalaga sa buhay. So masaya ako ngayong ishare at masaya ako dahil ang nakasama ko sa project na ito ay itong mga director na to, itong grupo na to. So maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga nagawa kong projects sa ABS-CBN,” she added.
Although she clarified that she is not leaving her home network ABS-CBN.
She said, “I’m not leaving ABS-CBN pero siguro hanggang dito nalang po ang mga trabahong gagawin ko pagdating sa soap opera.”
“Di ba exciting, masarap panoorin dahil huling project ko na ito. Opo gagraduate na po ako sa teleserye. Alam ko na tatatak ‘to sa puso ko sa isip ko dahil maraming marami akong natutunan, sa grupong to sa project na ‘to marami ako nadiscover sa sarili ko na mga di ko inakala na kaya kong gawin,” she added.
Angelica has been with the entertainment industry and under the care of ABS-CBN for decades. She started her career at the age of 6 on the TV show “Love Note” and became a regular in the youth variety show “Ang TV.” She starred in the film Sarah Ang Munting Prinses” which earned her the Best Child Actress award. The romantic comedy film That Thing Called Tadhana also earned her as Best Actress accolades.
Her upcoming action-drama teleserye “Walang Hanggang Paalam,” is set to premiere on September 28 (Monday) via Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live.
It is directed by Emmanuel Palo and Darnel Villaflor, and stars Paulo Avelino, Zanjoe Marudo, and Arci Muñoz. Also stars Jake Cuenca, JC Santos, Tonton Gutierrez, Lotlot de Leon, Ronnie Lazaro, McCoy de Leon, Mary Joy Apostol, Sherry Lara, Victor Silayan, Javi Benitez, and Cherry Pie Picache.
