It seemed that Alex Gonzaga faced a big challenge in her return to TV5.
Before she was officially announced as one of the hosts of the new noontime show that will be produced by Brightlight Productions and will be shown on TV5, Cristy Fermin in Abante, disclosed that Alex’s inclusion to the upcoming noontime show Laugh Out Loud is not yet confirmed as her name has been in and out of the list several times now.
Cristy is currently working with TV5 as host of Cristy FerMinute over Radyo Singko.
According to Fermin, Alex was originally part of the list of hosts of the new noontime show together with Billy Crawford and Bayani Agbayani. However, Cristy also learned that Alex was excluded and will not be part of the show one time.
With that Fermin questioned if Alex will really be part of the upcoming noontime show of the Kapatid network or not. Because of that, Cristy remembered the issue about the Gonzagas and an executive of the network.
Alex used to work for TV5 a few years back. She has co-hosted the Kapatid network’s showbiz oriented talk show with Fermin and did some teleseryes and other programs.
However, a TV executive who reportedly had some issues with Alex’s sister Toni Gonzaga threatened to get back at Alex prompting her to transfer to ABS-CBN.
“May lihim na galit daw ang TV executive kay Toni nu’n pa, kaya kay Alex bubuwelta ‘yung tao, pinaniwalaan naman agad ng family ni Alex ang kwento,” said Fermin’s source.
If Fermin’s claims are true, maybe the blocktimer Brightlight Productions won this time as they officially announced this afternoon that Alex Gonzaga is part of their upcoming project.
Her name was announced along with Wacky Kiray, K Brosas, Bayani Agbayani, KC Montero and Billy Crawford. They will join fellow Kapamilya stars Piolo Pascual, Catriona Gray, Maja Salvador, Jake Ejercito, Donny Pangilinan, Daniel Matsunaga, Jerome Ponce, Miles Ocampo, Ritz Azul, Jayson Gainza, RK Bagatsing, Macoy Dubs, Dimples Romana, Sue Ramirez, Ian Veneracion among others.
