Actress Alessandra De Rossi posted her reaction to the rape threat that Kapamilya star Liza Soberano received.
Liza formally filed a criminal case against the netizen who made rape remarks against her. De Rossi was amazed by the young star’s move and mentioned that people need to learn more about respecting their fellow citizens.
She expressed her opinion on her Twitter account when she quoted the tweet of ABS-CBN’s official Twitter account about Liza filing a criminal case.
🙏🏻 Salamat, Liza. "kaso" is not good and magastos pa. So think before you make a nasty remark. Wala naman may kayang magsabi nun in person, lalong wag mo gawin online kung saan may ebidensya ❤️🙏🏻❤️ https://t.co/R3GgQIhQBb

Liza was accompanied by her manager Ogie Diaz to file the case.
De Rossi thanked Liza for the bravery that she’s shown in defending herself against the harsh words of the netizens.
“Matuto lang galangin ang isa’t isa online. Lesson na ito para sa lahat. Salamat, Liza,” she wrote.
Alessandra stressed that filing a case is not easy and cheap so people should be careful before saying something nasty.
“‘kaso’ is not good and magastos pa. So think before you make a nasty remark,” she said.
She explained that even if people are hiding their identity behind their social media accounts, they should still be respectful.
“Wala naman may kayang magsabi nun in person, lalong wag mo gawin online kung saan may ebidensya,” she wrote.
De Rossi is known for tackling relevant issues of society on her social media account just like when she posted her criticism on DENR’s (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) white sand project on Manila Bay.
#ayudaparamasa

In a series of Tweets, she also responded to the netizens who bashed her criticism about Manila Bay.
When a netizen claimed that De Rossi didn’t want to see the country improved and beautified, she noted that the Philippines is already beautiful even before. She said that people shouldn’t try to ruin the natural order of nature and just focus and not polluting the environment.
🏖️😘 https://t.co/ABxYXCamP5

She also responded to a netizen who said that she is just against with beautifying the Manila Bay even more.
Parang retoke lang yan. You may get a nose or boob or whatever job, but if deep down inside you're still that same person, wag nalang. If it makes you a better person, by all means, do it! I go for retoke ng Manila Bay to fix what needs to be fixed! 😘😘😘 https://t.co/3r5RkqzdVl

De Rossi said that what the government should focus on is the coronavirus that still threatens the country up to this day. She even joked about eating the white sand.
Pero, sya talaga ang dapat asikasuhin for me. Wala akong ibang dasal kundi mapabuti lahat, walang magkasakit at mamatayan at magutom.
