Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Dawn Chang cleared up that even though ABS-CBN has ceased its broadcast operations, there are still things that keep her ‘busy’.
“You think because nawala ang ABS-CBN wala nadin akong ginagawa? Hello busy kaya ako, maglalaba pa ko, maghuhugas ng pinagkainan, magwawalis at mop. Ay nalimutan ko magcheek tint!” she tweeted.

[You think because ABS-CBN was closed, I do not have anything to do? I’m busy, I will do my laundry, wash the plates, sweep and mop. I forgot to mention do my cheek tint!]
With a vote of 70-11, Congress voted for the denial of the franchise of the Lopez-owned media company. The House’s decision doesn’t only signify the closure of the network but also the loss of jobs of around 11,000 employees, including Chang and other celebrities.
Some ABS-CBN artists have already begun shifting to other networks and announced new shows.
The media giant already announced the commencement of its retrenchment program by August 31. About 90% of their employed units will be laid off and become jobless in the middle of the pandemic.
