Former broadcaster and known die-hard Duterte supporter Jay Sonza apparently threw shade at Kapuso anchor Arnold Clavio.
In a Facebook post, Sonza wrote about RA 7610 or the Child Abuse Law which seemed to be referring to Arnold Clavio in light of Sarah Balabagan’s recent revelation.
“FYI. Violation of RA 7610 o Child Abuse Law kapag gumawa ka ng kalapastanganan laban sa isang below 18 years old.”

Arnold Clavio has been at the center of controversy after Sarah Balabagan’s revelation about the real father of her first child.
In a Facebook live, Sarah revealed that Kapuso journalist Arnold Clavio is the real father of her eldest. Balabagan explained that she only came out to set the record straight because the issue was recently opened up on social media. She said she wanted to put end to rumors and speculations about the father of her firstborn that’s why she went on Facebook live.
In her video, Sarah revealed that she was 17 years old when Clavio got her pregnant. Under RA 7610 Arnold could have been held liable for the crime of child abuse.
However, that law has a limit of 12 years. And since Sarah’s daughter is now already 22 and no case has been filed, the crime has already prescribed or expired.
Meanwhile, in a subsequent post which apparently seemed another dig at Clavio, Sonza lectured about the cardinal rule in broadcast commentaries.
According to Sonza, one has no right to criticize another especially those in government when he also has dirt in his hands. He also added that the doctrine on the fourth estate is just a mere self-imposed doctrine of the media and holds no water in law or in the constitution.

Clavio is known for his hard-hitting commentaries about the incompetencies of the government. Sonza on the other hand is best known for being the admin and its propagandist’s medium to spread fake news.
