Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto recently released a video on her official YouTube account.
The video was a mini mukbang of Julia enjoying her Panda Express feast of chow mein, orange chicken, and broccoli beef while answering some questions that her fans had for her.
The fans of the young actress appreciated her simplicity which made them realize that even a rising artist like Julia still manage to enjoy simple things in life. The people loved how casual she was and were able to relate how she did little dances while eating her food.
Her video was almost 5 minutes long and has the title MUKBANG + Q&A FAIL | Julia Barretto
Julia started the vlog by admitting that she didn’t know what to do as she has not planned what to record but she started to bring in her lunch.
She munched on her food while struggling to answer the questions thrown at her by her fans as she was distracted by the delicious food in front of her. The actress could not answer one question without taking a bite of her food and actually became lost in the moment at some point in the video.
Through her mukbang/Q&A video, people were able to find out a few things about Julia. They learned that her favorite piece of clothing is a pair of jeans or anything denim, her favorite city is Los Angeles, on her days off she just eats and lounges at home.
When asked what she enjoys the most about living by herself, the actress shares that she loved that she can have some time alone.
“Everything. I love the peace. I love the quiet. I love the freedom,” said Julia.
The Q&A ended abruptly when Julia was pestered with questions regarding her love life. Seemingly annoyed, she answered that she doesn’t want to talk about it.
“Why is everyone asking about my love life? I’m not gonna answer that question ever again,” Julia stated.
Her fans respected her wishes and encouraged their fellow fans to stop asking questions about her love life anymore. Her fans mentioned other people should stop sticking their noses into Julia’s private life as it is becoming disrespectful. They also believed the video was Julia’s way to let people know to stop asking about her love life.
In less than a year of vlogging, Julia has accumulated a total of 9,808,465 views and made 11 entries.

In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez-Intal for Cinemanews, the 23-year-old actress revealed that because of quarantine, she’s had more time to learn how to run her own YouTube channel.
“My YouTube last year was handled by a team, so all I had to do was show up to shoot. Now, I’m like a one-man team. I’m shooting. I’m editing. I’m posting, and I’m taking care of my entire YouTube. So many things I learned, and just the simple things like what when you learn, you feel you’re so independent,” said Julia.
“It’s a simple thing but it’s nakaka-proud because it’s not something [I] ever found time to do before. Now, if you see the good feedback and you see how well your channel is doing, parang the feeling is more rewarding,” she added.
It can be recalled that Julia seemingly gave hints on her new love in a radio interview on Magic 89.9 FM.
Julia Barretto said, “I’m gonna protect it with all that I have.” about her new relationship as she plans to keep it private.
However, she did not answer whether she is single or in a relationship for now.
“It’s happy right now, it’s very happy. But as to whether I’m single or not, I’m not gonna answer that for now,” she said.
Julia said that her love life should be the least of people’s concerns at the moment because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also said that she wanted to keep her romantic relationship private this time around.
When she was asked about one thing that she would never do again, she answered: “When it comes to love if it’s something you really want to last or work out, protect it as much as you can and don’t share too much about it. I think the less people know about something, the less they could have an opinion about it.”
“So now I want things to work out, I want things to last and I’m gonna protect it with all that I have. I’m gonna keep a lot of things to myself from now on when it comes to that aspect in my life,” she added.
Julia being in a relationship came to light due to her Instagram post last March when she shared that she spent her birthday with her family and a “loved one.”
She was last known to be in a relationship with her former onscreen partner Joshua Garcia. They parted ways in mid-2019.
She was then linked romantically to her “Between Maybes” co-star Gerald Anderson, but both of them denied it.
Julia is to star in Kapamilya Channel’s first new teleserye Cara Y Cruz. She will star along with Tony Labrusca, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Marco Gumabao, Barbie Imperial, and Heaven Peralejo.
“Cara Y Cruz” had been slated for airing on ABS-CBN, until the government shutdown of the network’s TV and radio broadcast, and subsequent launch of Kapamilya Channel.
But Julia recently confirmed that she will start shooting for the show. In an interview with DJ Jhai Ho, Julia revealed, “Salamat sa Diyos, marami po akong makakasama sa teleseryeng ‘Cara Y Cruz.’ Mag-i-start na po kaming mag-taping sa August.”
“Sana umere na po para mayroon kayong abangan sa ating Kapamilya Channel. So let’s keep praying for good things lang. Kapit lang, kapit lang tayo,” she added.
Julia Barretto rose to prominence after being cast in ABS-CBN’s Kokey, where she played the lead role of Anna Calugdan. She successfully starred as the protagonist of the 2014 melodrama fantasy series Mirabella. She also starred as a bida-kontrabida in And I Love You So.
She did several movies including Para Sa Hopeless Romantic, Vince and Kath and James, Love You To The Stars and Back, Unexpectedly Yours, I Love You, Hater, Block Z, and her controversial team up with Gerald Anderson for Between Maybes.
