Kapamilya star Vice Ganda shared what Robin Padilla did for Mariel Rodriguez on the noontime variety show, ‘It’s Showtime‘.
Vice talked about how he was able to see a 10-year-old video on Facebook showing how Robin proposed to Mariel at the time.
The comedian-host said that even though the video was taken a decade ago, he was still moved by it. He appreciated Robin’s gesture to Mariel as Vice realized how much the action star loves Mariel.
Vice sent the said Facebook video to Mariel and teased her about how beautiful she is in the video.
“Tapos sabi niya ‘oo 10 years ago ‘yun binigyan niya ako ng singsing. Tapos 10 years na kame ngayon binigyan niya ulit ako ng panibago,’ nagpropose daw ulit,” he continued.
Vice was amazed by how romantic Robin is and by how consistent he is in showing his love for Mariel. The comedian seems envious of what Robin did for Mariel. Vice might be hinting that he wants to receive a ring and feel special as well.
He said that those men who propose to their loved ones have no idea how flattering and heart-touching the gesture is for the one that they are proposing to. He said that being proposed to can make a person feel wanted, beautiful, and feel as if they are perfect.
Mariel and Robin have been happily married for 10 years now. They met in the now-defunct noontime show Wowowee when Robin became a guest host for the show. The two did not wait any longer and decided to get married in August 2010 after only three months of knowing each other. They flew to Agra, India, and got married at the Taj Mahal.
They recently celebrated their 10th anniversary and the couple posted about the joyous event on their Instagram accounts.
“A decade with you 💕 happy anniversary @robinhoodpadilla 10years 🥂 and a long road ahead. Mahal kita,” Mariel wrote.
“Ipagpatawad mo minahal kita agad.
Robin Padilla is known to be a romantic guy. Just recently, he once again proved to be one when he surprised his wife with a “little party” during Mariel’s birthday amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mariel saluted her husband for the efforts that he has shown in waking up early to organize the event. She said she felt “so much love” from her husband and her family as well.
