Robin Padilla shared a terrifying event that occurred in his house recently. He said he almost died due to electrocution while he was fixing their swimming pool at home.
On his Instagram post, he expressed how he was so thankful that nothing bad happened to him.
Robin started his post by the word ‘Bismillah‘ which literally means ‘in the name of Allah’ as he was so thankful that he was safe from the accident.

He mentioned that ever since the lockdown was implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was the one who was doing all the maintenance checks in the house. The actor said that it was necessary for him to learn how to handle the maintenance of the “Palais de tres Marias” because he doesn’t want to call for outside help as much as possible to be safe from the virus.
Robin said that as long as he can still fix the things that needed to be fixed in his house, he will do so because he doesn’t want to risk exposing his family from the people outside especially his children.
The actor saw that the wirings of the submersible pump that he was using to regulate the pool water were exposed and if he was not able to see it before submerging into the pool, he would have been electrocuted.
Yun!!! the end sigurado ako goodbye Philippines!” he said.
Robin was relieved that he made it a routine for him to check the wirings of the devices he will use especially the sub-pump. He said that even though the device was waterproof and guaranteed safe, he always make sure to double-check the wires as to not be electrocuted. He stressed that electricity and water are not something to be taken lightly.
“Alhamdulillah it is a blessed day for me Allah hu akbar nakapanghihina pala ang mga ganitong ganap ma shaa Allah mapapaisip ka rin at matitigilan Paano nga kaya kung hindi ako nag check? Astigfirullah Astigfirullah Astigfirullah,” he added.
Robin was so thankful that nothing bad happened to him because he couldn’t fathom the idea of him leaving behind his current wife Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and their two beautiful daughters.
After many months of no news about action star Robin Padilla, the actor announced that he will be hosting an agricultural show on NET25, Unlad Kaagapay sa Hanapbuhay.
As a Muslim, Robin believes that having a livelihood is a must and that one should not just rely on other people especially in this time of the pandemic. He believes that one must learn and experience the hardness of life as to not become a burden for the family and society.

For the pilot episode of his show that has premiered last July 26, the action star featured photos of his brother Rommel Padilla’s farm in Nueva Ecija and praised Rommel’s decision to go into farming.
On Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s recent State of the Nation Address (SONA), Robin expressed his satisfaction with Joyce Bernal’s direction and coverage.
In 1994, Padilla was convicted for illegal possession of firearms and sentenced to a maximum of eight years in jail but he only served four years because of a conditional pardon by former President Fidel Ramos.
In 2016, Padilla campaigned for presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte. In November 2016, Padilla was granted an absolute pardon from President Rodrigo Duterte to endow him full civil and political rights.
Robin is known to be an avid supporter of Duterte and has never shown support for ABS-CBN regarding the issue of its franchise renewal. He also accused the network of unfair labor practices and other violations that he said justifies the closure of ABS-CBN.
