Magandang Buhay host Karla Estrada wants the people to put aside their differences with each other’s opinions to focus on the real problem that our country is facing, which is the COVID-19.
The Kapamilya artist posted on her Twitter account what looked like her plea to followers and fellow Filipinos.
“TAMA NA ANG BANGAYAN. ISANTABI MO MUNA ANG GALIT. FOCUS TAYO SA TUNAY NA KALABAN NA NAMAMAYAGPAG HABANG DI TAYO NAGKAKAUNAWAAN. MAGDAMAYAN AT MAKIPAGTULUNGAN MUNA TAYO. DAHIL HIGIT SA LAHAT MAS KAILANGAN NG MAKABANGON ANG BAYAN MULA SA PANDEMYA NA ITO,” she stressed.
Many people have been speculating that Karla is pertaining to the dispute among netizens regarding Sen. Cynthia Villar’s statement about being not in favor of the health worker’s appeal in implementing ECQ in Metro Manila once again and telling them to just do their jobs.
“Hindi na siguro. Pagbutihin nila trabaho nila.
Others also say that the ‘fighting’ that Karla was pointing out was regarding Pres. Duterte’s message to nurses saying that if they want higher pay, they should join the police force.
“Enter the police force. The salary is higher. If you remain a nurse outside, you only get about eight, nine, ten [thousand pesos,” Duterte said.
Regardless of what Karla was really on about, she wanted to say that now is not the time for people to fall apart. In this time of need, she believes that the Filipino should stand together as one in making the country COVID free.

She reiterated that instead of arguing with each other and forcing one’s opinion on others, people should just focus on staying safe from the virus. She mentioned that the Filipino people could help the medical frontliners in making their jobs less exhausting by staying at home and always practicing the quarantine protocols.
She also said that people will have to make the small sacrifice of not going out so the risk of the virus spreading will lessen.

It can be recalled that Karla also decided to speak up with regards to the ABS-CBN franchise.
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, she vented her frustrations after the network decided to sign-off following the National Telecommunications Commission’s cease and desist order against it.
Wow! Wala kayong kasing Lupit! What got into you guys???”
She noted that people are supposed to be united at this time of the pandemic and shutting the ABS-CBN will do the society no good. She said that kindness and unity should be the ones prospering during these dark times.
She ended her post by saying, “NAKAKAKILABOT ANG BALIK NITO SA INYO! BAHALA NA ANG DIYOS SA ATING LAHAT.”
