Daniel Padilla’s name trended online after the actor showed an unexpected kindness towards a tricycle driver. A video showed that the got in a minor car accident with the tricycle driver last August 12.
The driver hit the back of his luxury car but instead of getting angry, the actor offered him money instead.
The video made rounds on the internet with many netizens expressing heir praise and admiration for the 25-year-old actor.
One netizen who shared the video commented, “Daniel Padilla everyone. Sobrang bait naman. Yung siya na ang nabangga siya pa ang nagbayad sa Tricycle Driver.”

In another tweet, Karla notified fans of Daniel’s condition after the accident. The actress said Daniel was fine and the car only got a few scratches.
She posted on Twitter, “Guys ok si DJ. Kaunting gasgas Lang sa sasakyan. At syempre everybody happy! No Problem! Tuloy ang buhay!”

Daniel, who was raised by a single parent, has been known as a helpful person by his family members and avid fans.
Last 2019, Daniel and his reel and real-life partner Kathryn Bernardo earned appreciation from Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso after they donated a total of ten animal cages to Manila City Pound.
