As kids spend more time at home, parents can now take advantage of the bounty of shows that not only entertain but also teach kids, thanks to the roster of programs on SKY that bring fun to learning—from Math, the arts, and even a language.
Parents who want their kids to learn basic Mandarin can get them into the habit of watching “Draw with Miao Mi” on Miao Mi channel where they are taught the basics of the language by drawing objects and things. Catch it every Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
The kids from “Math Tinik,” meanwhile, can help kids level-up children’s math skills in a less intimidating way. That’s because the team makes use of visual methods that make learning math easier and fun. It airs every Monday to Sunday, 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM, on Knowledge Channel.
Kids can also squeeze in some craft time with the help of ZooMoo Channel’s “Kooki’s Crafty Show” every Tuesdays to Saturdays, 6:15 AM. Kooki, a wacky, peppy red panda can teach them how to make fun cardboard cutout creations to small, delightful handiworks.
Let them enjoy some quick and safe experiments with “Science Max” on Da Vinci Kids every Wednesday 5:30 PM and Sundays at 10:00 AM.
They can also catch celebrities on Discovery’s “Shark Week” this August 31 (Monday) till September 6 (Sunday) as it features various celebrities on shows such as “Tyson vs. Jaws: Rumble on the Reef,” ““ShaqAttack,” and “Will Smith: Off The Deep End.” They also get to catch a daily morning “Baby Shark” sing-along show.
