Due to the rejected franchise of ABS-CBN, some artists are now looking for a new home network.
Sarah Geronimo is one of the artists who is in a good position despite the franchise because GMA Network and TV5 revealed that they would welcome her with open arms.
But it depends on Boss Vic del Rosario, Sarah’s manager, which network will she transfer to.
Recently, Twitter fans have been wondering if the Popstar Princess is switching networks. There have been reports that the Kapamilya singer and the ‘ASAP’ mainstay is already negotiating with other networks.
The said rumors even made Kapuso creative writer Suzette Doctolero tweet that Sarah is very welcome to be part of GMA Network.

ABS-CBN terminated the management/talent contracts of their artists so they can seek opportunities with rival networks, but those who belong to Star Magic will still be handled by the talent management arm of the network.
The popularity of Sarah is one reason other networks are going after her.
Even with ABS-CBN only accessible through the Kapamilya Channel in selected cable networks and online via the Kapamilya Online channel, the actress-singer still trended after delivering what seemed like a solo concert on ASAP Natin To when it resumed production. She performed “Misteryo,” “Ikot-Ikot” and “Kilometro.”
“Na-miss ko po kayo. Na-miss ko po ito. Every time po na ako ay nakakapag-perform sa stage na tulad nito sa ASAP, I always feel grateful and thankful kasi maliit pa lang ako, ito na po ang gusto kong gawin, ang makapagpasaya ng tao,” she said before singing “Duyan.”
“Maraming, maraming salamat to my ASAP family because I am still here and nagagawa ko pa rin ang aking passion.”
As of now, “ASAP Natin To” is Sarah’s only ongoing ABS-CBN show with The Voice Teens concluding.
Sarah Geronimo’s career started in 2003 after winning the “Star for the Night” singing contest. She won a management contract with the Viva Artist Agency and a cash prize of one million.
Later she released her multi-platinum album Popstar: A Dream Come True. She has won two consecutive Album of the Year awards from the Awit Awards for Perfectly Imperfect (2014) and The Great Unknown (2015).
