Xander Ford made the rounds on social medial after he posted a photo of himself in which he claimed that he looked like a member of famous South Korean boy band ‘BTS’.
Ford said that he looked like BTS’s Kim Tae-hyung or V which drew mixed reactions from netizens.

The netizens were quick to realize that the young influencer is referring to K-pop star V because the photo was originally posted by V. Ford just edited the photo to make it look like he was wearing the same clothes as the K-pop star.

Ford’s comparison garnered various reactions from the netizens. Many were saying that he was ambitious to think that he resembles the Korean idol. They said that Ford’s looks don’t compare to Tae-hyung’s for even just a bit.
Tae-hyung is considered to be one of the most handsome men according to a popular YouTube ranking channel ‘Top10World’ that selects the top 10 of various things. The K-pop star was able to beat famous international celebrities like Chris Evans, Tom Cruise, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Pattinson, and Zayn Malik.
Meanwhile, Ford recently posted a photo with social media influencer Buknoy Glamurrr with the caption: “Oh naka Facemask na!!”

His post was an answer to Kapamilya teen actor Awra Briguela who slammed Buknoy for violating quarantine protocol by going outside without a face mask past the curfew for minors.
Buknoy posted a video of himself all dressed up and drunk while walking down an empty street and shouting in the middle of the night. However, the 16-year-old influencer later deleted the post after it received flak from the netizens.
But netizens were able to save the video.

The video shows the influencer saying, “Sino single? Sana all may jowa! Sana all tsismosa! Sana all may pera na dimunyu ka!”
The viral video caught the attention of Awra and he slammed Buknoy for it.

Buknoy posted his response and said that Awra should send him a direct message instead of posting it on his timeline but Awra explained, “be katakot ka idm baka ma edit nanaman, remember last time? ☕️”

Awra also questioned why Buknoy waits for someone to correct him since it is a well-known fact that the country is under community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Buknoy replied by saying that he doesn’t have an idea of what Awra was talking about and said that all he knows is that the young actor has great anger with him.

Buknoy replied by saying “Hoy bes wag, ayoko syang mabash ok nayung ako nalang muna sangayon,,,”
Awra did not let Ford and Buknoy’s conversation pass as he tweeted “ANG GOALS NG FRIENDSHIP NYO,” with a clown emoji.

Awra said that Buknoy and Xander Ford don’t have anything against him and that the two should just focus on their ‘friendship’.
Many people sided with Awra because aside from being right, netizens hate Buknoy for belittling the jobs of tricycle drivers in a vlog. Even though Buknoy later apologized for his actions, people’s hatred towards him is unwavering.
Buknoy and Xander are both under the same talent agency Star Image Artist Management.
Xander Ford, formerly known as Marlou Arizala, also recently trended after his ex-girlfriend accused him of physical and sexual abuse in a public Facebook post.
In the now-deleted Facebook post, Ysah Cabrejas described in length the alleged abuse she received from Ford as well as photos of their conversations and bruises she received.

However, Ford came out as bisexual to hide behind the banner of the LGBTQIA+ community to avoid the allegations of rape and abuse by Cabrejas.
Xander Ford is a former member of Hasht5, a boy band parody group whose videos became popular back in 2015. In hopes of pursuing a solo career, he underwent plastic surgery to change his looks.
On April 23, 2019, Star Image Artist Management announced that they would suspend Xander Ford due to his unprofessional behavior.
