The woman in the Tiktok video is Joyce Britton Glorioso of Pagbilao, Quezon Province. Glorioso is 27 years old, a former cook, and a culinary trainee in the US. She is currently helping out in their family business.
She said that wanted to have a low-energy version of the #wapchallenge in Tiktok to make it unique. She didn’t really expect for Cardi B to notice her funny Tiktok video.
“I just made a low energy version po of wapchallenge or any dance to make it unique po, and I was really shocked po nung may nagpost sa twitter then retweeted by the queen,” said Glorioso.
Glorioso added that she couldn’t believe it when she saw the retweet from the artist, and that feels happy and proud that Cardi B noticed her Tiktok video.
“At first po di po ako makapaniwala, tapos I’m very happy po syempre and proud na din po,” said Glorioso.
WAP is a collaboration of Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion which reached #1 on Australia’s Billboard 100. The music video premiered last August 7, 2020, which included a cameo of Kylie Jenner, on YouTube. It has since then spawned numerous Tiktok challenges.
