James Reid and Nadine Lustre were spotted together once again after James’ mother posted her birthday pictures together with the former couple on social media.
The former love team JaDine decided to hold a surprise birthday celebration for James’ mother by giving her a dedication cake and a bouquet.
James’ mother appreciated JaDine’s gestures and posted on her Facebook account that she was indeed surprised.

“Thank you Nadz for the Cake and James also the Flower it was indeed a big surprise for me..🙏😍💜🌱” she wrote.
The pictures quickly spread on social media and especially caught the attention of JaDine fans and supporters. People were saying that despite the two breaking up, they remained a close relationship with each other.
Recently, James’ mom also greeted the mother of Nadine when she celebrated her birthday on August 22. She said that she chose a photo of them all together along with her daughter Chanty because that specific photo was their first date with JaDine.

James’ mom called the mother of Lustre as her ‘balae’ which means that she’s already considering Nadine as her daughter-in-law. Although JaDine has already broken up, the relationship that they had with each other’s parents remain strong as they still hang out for the sake of their mothers.
But JaDine fans have speculated that the two were back together as they were seen hanging out together several times even after they announced their breakup.
Just a few weeks after their much-talked-about breakup, they were seen dining together at a Korean restaurant which made netizens confused as to what the real status of their relationship is.

Some say that they were only hanging out as friends but some also believed that the two have already patched things up in their relationship and were already secretly back together.
JaDine ended their nearly four-year relationship when they announced their breakup earlier in January 2020. It was confirmed that they were already living together when James admitted it in an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
However, fans were quick to notice that the two seem to be living together even after their breakup. People noticed the similarities in the background of the photos they posted on their social media accounts.

When Nadine posted a selfie on her Instagram story, netizens compared the red couch and patterned carpet seen vividly on Nadine’s post, they confirmed that it was the same couch and carpet that was visible in James’ posts.
The similarities in their posts’ background along with their several pictures together gave hope to JaDine fans that they were indeed back together.
James Reid and Nadine Lustre were paired for Diary ng Panget (2014), a movie based on the best-selling novel of the same name. JaDine top-billed another blockbuster movie, Talk Back And You’re Dead in that same year. They starred in movies like Para sa Hopeless Romantic (2015) and This Time (2016).
Their tandem became even more popular when they starred in the romantic comedy-drama series On the Wings of Love (2015). They had a concert together called ‘Jadine in Love‘ in 2016, and had their second major concert entitled “Revolution: a JaDine Concert at Araneta Coliseum”. JaDine’s last movie together was Never Not Love You in 2018.
