Vice Ganda looked back on how Aga Muhlach was involved in him eventually meeting his boyfriend Ion Perez.
During the It’s Showtime live broadcast on August 15, Vhong Navarro greeted Aga Muhlach on his birthday on August 12.
Vice Ganda also sent his greeting to the actor and revealed the important role of Aga in his relationship with Ion Perez.
The comedian related that he talked with Aga during his birthday and thanked him for being the ‘bridge’ for him and Ion to meet.
“Sabi ko, kasi ‘di mo alam may malaking bahagi ka sa buhay ko. Sabi niya, bakit? Sabi ko, natatandaan mo si Ion? Sabi niya, sino si Ion? Sabi ko, si Ion yung pinakilala mo sa akin sa GGV a long time ago,” Vice said.
In October 2017, during Aga’s guesting on Sunday late-night show of Vice Ganda, Gandang Gabi Vice, he randomly picked Ion from the audience from among the winners of Mister Filipinas 2017.
Years passed, Vice didn’t expect that Ion, popularly known as Kuya Escort, will be part of the noontime show, It’s Showtime.
When they met there, that’s when Ion confessed that it is him who was introduced by Aga Muhlach during a GGV episode.
“Hindi ko na yun natandaan, tapos after a few years, nandito na si Ion sa Showtime, dito na kame nagkita,” Vice said.

“Nung may eksena na, tsaka niya sinabi, ako yung pinakilala sayo ni Aga Muhlach,” he added.
Vhong then called Ion and Vice meeting again as “destiny”.
Vice then labeled Aga as the ‘dakilang bugaloo’ and even mentioned his plans of getting Aga as one of their wedding sponsors in the future.
