The wife of Maguindanao Rep. Esmael Toto Mangudadatu, Mylene Mangudadatu took to social media to thank all Kapamilyas and apologize for her husband’s vote on the ABS-CBN franchise application.
Mylene said she was against Congressman Mangudadatu’s vote to deny the ABS-CBN franchise. However, she said that she couldn’t do anything because he’s always with his mistress who’s not smart.
“Thank you, Kapamilya! Pasensya na kayo kung nakalimot si Toto sa pagtulong n’yo sa [Maguindanao massacre] noon. Against ako sa [pagboto niya ng “yes”] (sa franchise denial ng ABS-CBN); kaso ang ‘lagi niyang kasama ay ang kabit niyang mahina ang utak. Alam n’yo naman, behind every man’s success is a woman.”

Toto Mangudadatu was one of the 70 congressmen who denied ABS-CBN’s franchise application.
Many netizens also criticized the Maguindanao representative on his vote because media organizations like ABS-CBN were the ones who supported the cause of bringing justice to the victims of the Maguindanao massacre which cost the life of Mangudadatu’s family and several journalists.
I'm appalled, disgusted and angry at my representative, Toto Mangudadatu, for voting No to the ABS-CBN franchise. The media remained vigilant and supported his quest for justice for a decade. Without the media, the outcome would have been different. How easily one forgets.

Dear Toto Mangudadatu, isa ka sa nag yes sa disapproval ng franchise ng ABS-CBN. Ipaalala ko lang na buhay ng journo ang inalay para makarating ka kung nasaan ka man.

Mangudadatu voted against the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN? Nakalimutan na yata niya ang Maguindanao massacre na tinaguriang "biggest massacre of journalists in history".

Meanwhile, Mylene’s post also went viral on social media because of her revelation about Toto and his mistresses which she named as former Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel and a certain Michelle Schulte.
