Known for her brutal and frank comments to actors, TV host and columnist Lolit Solis gave her honest opinion about actress Jennylyn Mercado who has been very vocal about her opinions regarding several issues.
On her Instagram account, Solis questioned Mercado’s status on social media,
Solis clarified that she’s not siding with anyone, but she told the Kapuso actress that she must be careful to make remarks on the issues.
“Wala akong gusto kampihan.
The columnist even reminded the actress’ publicist Vinia Vivar to remind Jennylyn to stop talking about political issues.
Lolit further advised that Jennylyn should focus on helping like actresses Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera instead of criticizing,
Solis issued this statement because of a recent issue in which former Deputy Administrator Arnell Ignacio of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) called out Jennylyn Mercado for criticizing the government.
You have very successful careers dahil mahusay kayo sa linyang pag aartista,” said Ignacio. “Do not ever think the power of popularity will instantly translate into mastery of the political jungle. Wawasakin ninyo mga careers ninyo,”
He even called the actress ‘eleganteng tsismosa’ for not knowing anything about the things that she keeps criticizing,
