Television host Bianca Gonzalez clarified on Monday that she did not feel insulted after DZRH announcer Henry Uri retaliated to her comments that seemed to belittle the latter’s radio stations’ reach.
“Some people think na-“burn” ako sa post ni Sir Henri Uy, but I don’t feel that way.. honestly ayoko ma-stuck sa isang echo chamber kaya sobrang na-appreciate ko when people explain things (whether its to “burn” or to educate me.) I feel grateful kasi mas alam ko na ngayon,” Bianca said.
“I never meant my post to ‘put down; my fellow media practitioners, why would I eh tulungan lahat, and for those I offended, I apologize. I try to remind myself na wag matakot na ma-‘burn”;and instead, always be willing to learn!! Have a good week and kapit lang tayo!!!” she added.

The clash of these two journalists began when Bianca expressed concern for TV audiences from far-flung areas that supposedly depend on ABS-CBN for news and current affairs.

Henry Uri, radio announcer then disaffirms the statement of Bianca and said that the DZRH-Manila broadcasting company has a very wide reach, even named as the largest radio broadcasting company in Asia.

Uri admitted that he was hurt by Bianca’s statement and said that it was an insult to other stations and provincial news channels.
He also disagreed with the point that only ABS-CBN is capable of broadcasting in far-flung areas. Uri said that they have a wide reach to cater to the needs of people in terms of news and current affairs.
Bianca Gonzalez is an award-winning female host who had her first on-camera appearance on ABS-CBN. She also hosted several shows in Studio 23. Also known for being one of the hosts of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
Meanwhile, Henry Uri is a DZRH announcer and the president of the Malacanang Press Corps 2019.
