A lot of ABS-CBN artists, production people, and employees have expressed their opinions on ABS CBN employees who are silent about the demise of the network.
Kapamilya stars Chie Filiomeno and Kira Balinger took a swipe at Kapamilya stars who ‘prioritized’ their feed more instead of voicing out their support.
On her Twitter account, Chie called out some Kapamilya stars that think more about their curated Instagram feed than using their platform to fight for ABS-CBN.
“Hello sa inyong lahat except sa mga ayaw masira IG feed nila, alam na tinatarantado tayo pero tahimik pa din hanggang ngayon at higit sa lahat walang utang na loob. Ang matamaan sana magkabukol.”

While Chie didn’t mention any names, Nadine Lustre’s fans assumed Chie was talking about their idol.
Everyone has their own ways of expressing grievances. Minsan mas mabuti ng manahimik kaysa magmagaling. 🙊

Hello sa lahat except sa ini-insert ang insecurity para mag-add ng fuel sa fire.
No one needs to ruin his/her feed just to sympathize and fight with the oppressed — to help anyone at all.
Yung iba nga diyan, wala namang nabigay na tulong, hindi pa maganda yung feed. 🤪

Kapamilya Teen Star Kira Balinger also tweeted a similar ‘parinig’ tweet where she accused the artist of being scared for not standing up for the network,
“Takot lumaban? Walang utang na loob? O talagang ayaw mo lang masira feed mo sa IG? Oops.”
Kira’s tweet has since been deleted after it attracted bashers.
At the ABS-CBN noise barrage last Saturday, Angel Locsin chastised fellow Kapamilya stars for keeping quiet when it comes to the ordeal faced by their home network.
“Sa mga artistang hindi nagsasalita, may career pa ba kayo? Wala na! Wala na kayong network!”
ABS-CBN revealed on Wednesday, July 15, that they had been forced to lay off their staff due to their closure. Congress has rejected its application for the renewal of the franchise.
“With the non-renewal of its congressional franchise, ABS-CBN is now forced to cease the operations of some of its businesses and implement a retrenchment program covering ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries effective end of business day on 31 August 2020,” the network said.
