OWWA Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson faced backlash from netizens because of her tweet that needed to be applied to her.
On the Twitter account of Mocha Uson, the Deputy Administrator retweeted her manager’s tweet of an Instagram Story where some ABS-CBN supporters did a noise barrage in front of Congressman Mike Defensor’s house.
“Mga walang respeto sa batas,” the queen of fake news tweeted.

Netizens were shocked that Mocha had the audacity to tweet that statement when she should’ve applied it to herself in the first place.
Ikaw ang walang respeto sa batas.

Mocha Uson has been slammed for gathering OFWs in Batangas City who had previously been told to go under a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Mass gatherings are not allowed in this time of the pandemic.

Enhanced Community Quarantine was mandated that time and mass gatherings weren’t allowed which led netizens to bash the government official for her actions.
But Hans Leo Cacdac, administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWAA), attempted to explain Mocha’s actions for gathering overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who were quarantined at a resort in Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas.
He said that OWWA had received a notification that one of the OFWs waded in the water along the beach against the enhanced Community quarantine guidelines set out by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases Management (IATF-EID).
“So I asked Deputy Administrator Mocha to go there. I said: Check on them and remind them [of the rules]. So when she arrived there, she told them to observe the 14-day quarantine,” Cacdac said in Filipino.
In spite of the best intentions to carry out a message about the COVID -19 pandemic during her visit, Mocha still received flak from the netizens because of her careless actions.
