Magandang Buhay host Melai Cantiveros paid tribute to all her big bosses at ABS-CBN during the House hearing on the network franchise renewal.
On Instagram, Melai gave a tribute message to their big bosses who faced Congress with humility.
‘Maraming salamat po sa aming mga bosses, na naging boses namin sa pakikipaglaban sa pag-renew ng aming franchise. ‘Di kami magsasawa na magpasalamat sa inyu. Binastos man kayo nanatili kayong mabubuti at marangal. Ngayon ko naintindihan bakit kayo naging boss nmin.”
She also recalled the kindness that was shown to her after winning Pinoy Big Brother.
“Naalala ko nung kapanalo namin sa ‘PBB.’ After namin manalo, sabi ni Sir Gabby (Lopez) na ‘di namin makakalimutan mag-asawa, “Jason, Melai, sabihin n’yo lang sa akin kung may problema kayo ha. Ako bahala sa inyo,'” she said
“Sobra. Naramdaman agad namin noon na Kapamilya kami at may-ari pa ng ABS ang kumausap sa amin na ganun. Napatunayan ko na mabait talaga mga boss namin. So much respect po sa inyo. Patuloy ang aming dasal at pananalig na mababalik natin ito. Mahal namin kayo,” she added.
ABS-CBN Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak also earned admiration from the netizens and Kapamilya supporters for being calm and professional amidst the fierce interpellation during house hearings.

Melai and her husband Jayson Francisco started their career in showbiz after the former won Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up in 2009.
Currently, Melai is one of Magandang Buhay hosts together with Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal.
