Kapamilya celebrity Matteo Guidicelli took to social media to express his thoughts about the current situation in the country.
In an Instagram story, Matteo seemingly answered calls of other Kapamilya stars to speak out and strongly denounce the horror being done to the Kapamilya network affecting thousands of its employees.
He posted a quote that says “Speak only when you feel that your words are better than your silence.”
This came after the viral passionate statement of Angel Locsin during the ABS-CBN noise barrage urging all Kapamilya stars and personalities to break their silence and speak up for the embattled network and the 11k employees who are about to lose their jobs especially during this time of the pandemic.
Prior to the cryptic post, Matteo also share on Instagram a picture of a lighted candle as a symbol of the support for ABS-CBN and its employees.

“We lit a candle last night. Took a moment and prayed for each and every employee some of which are close to my heart from the years we spent together.
“Hold on tight, we will rise again.”
Matteo has been a target of criticism from ABS-CBN supporters for his continued silence and or soft stand on the issue.
He is also known as a strong supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte with the star being the Youth Ambassador of the National Youth Commission and a reservist of the Philippine Army.
Matteo has been with ABS-CBN since 2007.
He started his TV career in the teen sitcom Go Kada Go. He was then cast as lead actor in several teleseryes such as Agua Bendita (2010), My Binondo Girl (2011), Dolce Amore (2016), and Bagani (2018).
